When Our Community Comes Together

Every year, we meet thousands of animals – companion pets, stray animals and wildlife – who need help. Whether it’s serious injuries or life-threatening illnesses, DoveLewis is committed to providing the best medical care possible, but we couldn’t do it without your help. Find out how community support makes a difference.

Surgery for "dietary indiscretions"

Meet Paddington, a curious chocolate Lab who ate some things she shouldn’t have! Our surgeon removed pieces of thread, ribbon, plastic and bark all entangled together in Paddington’s intestines. She made an excellent recovery and is back to living that Lab life.

A puppy's seizure scare

Two-month-old Moki visited our ER after experiencing lethargy, multiple vomiting episodes and a possible seizure. After running several tests, Moki was treated for gastroenteritis with fluids and medication. Since his seizures didn’t return, he was able to go home the next day.

Stray kitten gets care (and a bath)

Our donor-funded Stray Animal & Wildlife Fund helps thousands of animals every year, including abandoned kittens who need help to thrive – and sometimes a simple bath. We work with local animal service agencies to help these animals find healthy, happy futures.

Strays
This kitten was cared for because our donors believe that all ill and injured stray animals deserve quality care.
