After losing my dog Shaygala, suddenly, and at an early age of 5, from an extremely aggressive and deadly leukemia, on October 22nd, 2012, I knew that the road of my emotional recovery ahead would be a very long and difficult one, having been through this crippling kind of loss of my animal companions twice before in the past 9 years.

People often send me photos of how they memorialize a beloved pet that has passed. Each photo is touching and inspiring. I love hearing about and seeing the unique, beautiful and meaningful way people memorialize their companion animals.

I am often contacted by members of the local and national media about the program, and the services and resources we offer to the community. All our services are unique in their own way and are aimed at helping pet owners navigate the grief associated with losing a beloved companion animal and healing.
