Hiring Right the First Time

with Monica Maxwell, SPHR, SHRM-SCP

Hiring the right employees is one of the most important decisions an owner or manager can make. Hiring the wrong employee can lead to lost productivity, low morale and poor client service. In this session, we will discuss how to create a successful process for hiring in a competitive market, as well as tailoring your process toward your client's needs and your culture.

Thursday, Feb. 21, 2019
7:00 p.m. – Wine, beer and tacos
7:30 - 8:30 p.m. – Lecture

*LOCATION* Albers Mill Building: 1200 NW Naito Pkwy, Suite 300, Portland, OR 97209

We invite all doctors and support staff in the community to attend our 3rd Thursday Rounds. Attendees receive one Oregon* or Washington CE credit for each meeting. DVMs cannot earn CE credit by attending technician lectures, but technicians can earn CE credit by attending DVM lectures.

Rounds cover all topics in veterinary medicine. DVM lecture topics are geared towards veterinarians, while our technician lecture topics are geared toward technicians and support staff. Technicians and support staff are welcome to attend DVM lectures and vice versa. DVM and technician lectures rotate monthly (unless a management topic is being offered instead). At least two management lectures are offered per year.

Space is limited. Please RSVP online.

Parking: Please park in a visitor spot (located near the front) in the Albers Mill parking lot. You may park for free in the visitor designated spots for up to two hours. Street parking is also available outside of the lot.

*Approval pending.

If you have questions, please contact us at questions@dovelewis.org or 971-255-5934.

Please sign up for our DoveReport email newsletter to be notified of our next lecture.
