Patti Louie

Patti Louie has been a resident of Portland since 2015 and prior to that, lived in Los Angeles. She works for Volunteers of America Los Angeles as its Chief Financial Officer. Prior to that she was Vice-President, Corporate Finance for Bear Stearns in Investment Banking, and before that, a Satellite Engineer Manager for the Hughes Aircraft Company. She has a Masters Degree in Business from UCLA and a Masters in Engineering from Stanford University. Her PhD in Management is through Walden University. 

Most importantly, she has two English Labrador Retrievers, Gryffin and Thurber (named after James Thurber, an author and cartoonist of dogs). Her other immediate family members include a husband, two children, and two grandchildren(!)

She is a regular public service board volunteer. In addition to her sitting on the Board of Directors for DoveLewis, she previously served on the Oregon Medical Board and is currently on its Emergency Medical Service Committee. She has also been on the Board of the Forest Park Conservancy and the ACLU-Oregon. 

She enjoys hiking and gardening, yarn work, and dabbling in the fine arts.
