Anit Jindal

Anit Jindal is a trial lawyer with the Portland law firm Markowitz Herbold.  Anit represents businesses, state agencies, and public utilities in commercial litigation in state and federal court.  Before joining Markowitz Herbold, Anit clerked for the Honorable Morgan Christen on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and for Justice Peter Maassen of the Alaska Supreme Court.  Previously, Anit was an associate at the Washington DC law firm Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson.  Anit holds a Bachelor’s degree from Brown University and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.

In his free time, Anit enjoys hiking, cross-country skiing, and spending time with his wife Astrid, three-year-old son Kumar, his dog Lucy, and his cat Emmett.
