Klay Lapa

Dr. Klay Lapa is a staff veterinarian at DoveLewis, inspired by the chance to work alongside a diverse team of specialists and to provide initial stabilization for wildlife brought in by the public. He enjoys being part of a hospital where high-level care and community service go hand in hand.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Lapa stays active and connected to nature. He loves running, hiking, kayaking, and catching a show at the local theater. His adventures have included living for 10 months in the California desert with the Student Conservation Association, doing hands-on habitat restoration work—an experience that continues to influence his approach to veterinary care and conservation.
