Pet First Aid Workshop

Learn the basics of pet first aid so you’ll always be prepared in an emergency. This free, lecture-style community workshop also features an optional hands-on portion taught by DoveLewis’ professional veterinary staff.  Space is limited to 50 participants and classes do fill quickly.

You will learn how to:

• prepare a first aid kit
• obtain vital signs
• assess breathing and circulation
• perform CPR
• address shock
• handle specific injuries
• transport injured animals
• identify possible instances of toxicity
• respond to allergic reactions
