October Learning Lecture: Jerky Joints and Stubborn Sprains: Uncommon Approaches for Common Problems

Presented by Rehabilitation Veterinarian Jordan McKinney, DVM, CCAT

This lecture will explore advanced diagnostic and treatment options for common mobility-related conditions, including arthritis, biceps tenosynovitis, and iliopsoas strains. Attendees will learn when musculoskeletal ultrasound or MRI may be appropriate, along with the benefits and limitations of each imaging method. The lecture will also cover therapies such as extracorporeal shockwave therapy, joint and soft tissue injections, and custom orthotics, including how these treatments work and what outcomes to expect.
