Portland Craft Beer Festival

In its fifth year, the Portland Craft Beer Festival is a four-day event that features more than 70 craft breweries! This big outdoor party at The Fields Park showcases the broadest selection of local beers, ciders and wine, originating from Portland, Oregon breweries. Only beers, plus ciders and wine, crafted within the city limits of Portland are featured, which makes it unique and different from other beer festivals.

DoveLewis is a beneficiary of this year's festival. We hope you can join us to taste some delicious brew and support animals in need.

Festival days and times:

  • Thursday, July 4, 12 - 10 p.m. (21+ only)
  • Friday, July 5, 12 - 10 p.m. (21+ only)
  • Saturday, July 6, 12 - 10 p.m. (21+ only)
  • Sunday, July 7, 12 - 5 p.m. (Family Day - all ages welcome!)

Interested in volunteering?

We are required to provide 60 volunteers on July 4 from 6:30 to 10 p.m. in order for DoveLewis to participate in the festival as a beneficiary. Volunteers will be serving beer (no OLCC permit required), chatting with people, and having fun!

Are you available? Here's what's in it for you:

  • Portland Craft Beer Festival volunteer T-shirt
  • Entry into the event for the entire festival
  • 10 tasting tickets

Volunteers are not able to drink before or during your volunteer shift, but you may return on July 5, 6 and 7 to taste beer and enjoy the festival. We suggest recruiting some friends to volunteer with you on the fourth, and then plan to return with them later that weekend to sample some of the tasty brews.

Memorial Art Workshop

One of the best ways to navigate your grief when you lose a pet is by memorializing them through art. Research shows that art and healing come from the same source. In fact, it is now known that when a person is creating art or is healing, this person will emit the same brain wave patterns. Art and healing are so powerful that hospitals are incorporating art into patient care.
