February Learning Lecture: Rabbit Gastrointestinal Syndrome

Rabbit Gastrointestinal Syndrome (RGIS) is one of the most common causes for pet rabbits to present to veterinary hospitals on emergency. Symptoms range from mild to very severe and can even lead to death. In this lecture by Senior Exotics Veterinarian Kelly Flaminio, DVM, we will discuss how to properly diagnose this syndrome as well as treatment recommendations guided by the most up-to-date literature.

Memorial Art Workshop

One of the best ways to navigate your grief when you lose a pet is by memorializing them through art. Research shows that art and healing come from the same source. In fact, it is now known that when a person is creating art or is healing, this person will emit the same brain wave patterns. Art and healing are so powerful that hospitals are incorporating art into patient care.
