April Learning Lecture: The Canine (and Feline) Knee: Old Problem, Newest Solutions
In this lecture, DoveLewis Small Animal Surgeon Dusty Spencer, DVM, DACVS-SA, will explore the anatomy of the canine and feline stifle as it relates to cranial cruciate ligament disease and medial patellar luxation.
Attendees will learn about the surgical goals for CCL and MPL repairs, comparing traditional techniques with innovative advancements in stifle stabilization. Dr. Spencer will also review the "Off-Set TPLO" procedure, discussing its benefits and indications for enhancing joint stability and recovery in affected animals.
