Pet First Aid Event

Join DoveLewis for a free Pet First Aid & Preparedness event! Whether you’re a first-time pet owner, a longtime pet parent, or simply an animal lover, this class is designed for all ages and experience levels. Build confidence in caring for pets during unexpected situations, and gain a better understanding of when veterinary expertise is needed.
 

During this session, you’ll learn how to:

• Recognize emergencies and know when a visit to DoveLewis is essential
• Understand basic pet first-aid techniques
• Check and interpret vital signs
• Assess common pet injuries and wounds
• Safely transport an injured or ill animal

This meeting will take place at DoveLewis' new facility, Whiskers, which is located directly across the street from our Pettygrove location. The community room is located on the second floor.
