Summer Pet Safety Class

Join DoveLewis Veterinarian Sarah Tauber, DVM, for a free, all-ages class focused on keeping your pets safe during the summer months. Learn how to recognize and prevent heat stroke, respond to common summer toxin exposures—like fertilizers, pesticides, and picnic foods—and manage warm-weather injuries such as paw pad scrapes, cuts, and insect stings. This class will give you practical tips so you and your pets can enjoy a fun, safe summer together.

This meeting will take place at DoveLewis' new facility, Whiskers, which is located directly across the street from our Pettygrove location. The community room is located on the second floor.

Memorial Art Workshop

One of the best ways to navigate your grief when you lose a pet is by memorializing them through art. Research shows that art and healing come from the same source. In fact, it is now known that when a person is creating art or is healing, this person will emit the same brain wave patterns. Art and healing are so powerful that hospitals are incorporating art into patient care.
