Abandoned in a Box the Day after Christmas
Found in a box outside a grocery store, this sweet puppy had the beginnings of an abscess on his neck from a suspected bite wound and was brought to DoveLewis for care. Thanks to the Stray and Lost Animal Program, Marti began his journey to recovery and his happy puppy energy has flourished in his new home!
Affording Care Shouldn't Be a Barrier to Your Pet's Health
When Contra fell off a fence and started crying when being petted, his family didn't know what to do as they were dealing with a tight budget. Thanks to the Velvet Assistance Fund, Contra received a thorough exam, fluids, and medication to be able to go back to enjoying lounging on the couch with his family!
