June Learning Lecture: Cultivating Professional Identity and Core Values

Cultivating Professional Identity and Core Values: A DoveLewis Workshop for Veterinary Technicians

Join us for a roundtable discussion led by DoveLewis Hospital Administrator Sarah Harris, CVT, VTS (ECC), focused on building and strengthening the professional identity of veterinary technicians. Together, we’ll explore core nursing values, ethical obligations in animal care, and the challenges that can stand in the way of personal and professional growth. Through shared experiences, we’ll cover topics like compassion fatigue, trust, and professionalism—all within the context of team dynamics. This is an ideal space for technicians looking to reflect, connect, and grow as leaders in the field.

Free  |  Dinner provided  |  Registration is required, RSVP today.

We invite all doctors, technicians, managers and support staff in the veterinary community to attend our Learning Lectures. This program is pending RACE-approved for one hour of technician continuing education credit in jurisdictions that recognize RACE approval. If you have questions about the CE requirements for your state, we recommend reaching out to your state's veterinary board.

Please RSVP online.

If you have questions, please contact us at questions@dovelewis.org or 971-255-5934.

Please sign up for our DoveReport email newsletter to be notified of our next lecture.
