At least one day of Dogs Forest Fun Runs is recommended per week for four to six months. The Biggest Doggie Weigh Down promotes the goal and maintenance of a healthy weight and lifestyle through natural exercise that your dog will enjoy. Being overweight can pose significant risks to your dog’s health. Overweight dogs are at higher risk for diabetes, and the extra weight they carry on their bodies can make them uncomfortable. For a $20 fee, Dogs Forest Fun Runs takes your dog on forest runs on their fenced 6-acre property in Hillsboro. These runs can help your dog lose weight safely with natural exercise. On every run, a percentage of the proceeds will benefit DoveLewis and the Oregon Humane Society.
