Andrew Franklin

Mr. Franklin retired from The ODS Companies [now Moda Health] after serving for 11 years as Senior Vice President and COO. Prior to that he spent many years in the international mining business in the USA, West and South Africa, Portugal, Mexico, the UK and the Middle East. He moved to Portland in 1971 to work for PP&L in the coal mining business rising to the position of President, NERCO Mining Company. Mr. Franklin has many years of board experience, most notably as a board member then Chair of Oregon Public Broadcasting. Other board service includes, Anesthesiologists Associates Incorporated, Oregon Hospice Association and Riedel Environmental Technologies, Inc. where he also served as President.

He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering from the Royal School of Mines, London University and a Master’s Degree in civil engineering from Imperial College. He also attended the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School.
