Gwendolen Reyes-Illg has a passion for animal welfare. In high school, she saw that veterinary medicine would allow her a concrete way to help and advocate for animals, while also engaging her love of science. Her interest has expanded to veterinary medical ethics, especially the ways in which the veterinary industry intersects with animal ethics and social justice.
Dr. Reyes-Illg joined the staff at DoveLewis in 2018, where she also strives to minimize patient stress and create a positive environment during treament.
