I am often contacted by members of the local and national media about the program, and the services and resources we offer to the community. All our services are unique in their own way and are aimed at helping pet owners navigate the grief associated with losing a beloved companion animal and healing. From pet loss support groups that meet four times a month in DoveLewis’ Board Room to memorial art therapy workshops I facilitate monthly in our Community Room, our services have seen growth over the span of the program’s 27 year existence.

Making a Memory Box
A memory box is a uniquely decorated container in honor of your beloved pet. It is a special place where you can store mementos, photos and keepsakes of your pet.
When you look at your memory box and explore its contents, you may feel a connection to your beloved pet. Having a lovingly decorated memory box on display in your home is a beautiful remembrance.
Creating a memory box to honor your lost loved one can be a very healing experience. Allow yourself plenty of time and care to make your memory box special; it will reflect your pet and the bond you shared. Choose a theme and... Read More >

Like all parents suffering a loss, we were at turns devasted and hopeful - devastated that we had to continue without Lonny, and hopeful that he would still make his presence known somehow and send us a message. Thanks to Enid and the Pet Loss Support groups at... Read More >
