Dr. Fairbanks has been a member of the DoveLewis board since 2008 and served as the vice president in 2012. Dr. Fairbanks’ appointment marks the first female to hold the position of board president since DoveLewis’ inception in 1973.

DoveLewis“Dr. Fairbanks is an extraordinary veterinarian and a tremendous asset to our organization,” says Ron Morgan, DoveLewis CEO. “She brings a wealth of knowledge in the field and has the passion and dedication to help strengthen DoveLewis’ impact in the community and in the industry.”

Dr. Fairbanks is a Northwest native and grew up in Eugene, Ore., before attending Michigan State University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in animal science. In partnership with Portland Veterinary Medical Association (PVMA), the DoveLewis board of directors is comprised of 13 members, which include eight board certified, practicing veterinarians.
