Finally - a place on the Oregon Coast to bring your pet in an emergency when your regular veterinary clinic is closed or when you are miles from home, enjoying a weekend at the beach.
DoveLewis is thrilled to expand its emergency veterinary services to the central Oregon Coast - the only after-hours emergency facility in the area. Our staff is trained to treat all small animals in an emergency. We are not able to treat farm animals or marine animals.
How You Can Help
DoveLewis has established specific Oregon Coast funds, which will allow donors to help DoveLewis bring its beloved community programs to the coast. As soon as we can raise enough money, we will be able to offer services like financial assistance to low income families during a veterinary emergency and pet loss support to griveing families who have lost or are on the verge of losing a pet. We’re also working with the Lincoln County Animal Shelter to provide after-hours care to injured stray animals. Your generous gifts will establish and support these efforts.

Testimonials
Very impressed with Dr. Jason Kimball - he is not only a competent & skilled veterinarian, but he’s personable, compassionate, and very courteous and kind. The Lincoln City community is blessed to have him there!! Our chow, ‘Kodiak’ was at ease around him.

Thank you so much for opening your emergency care facility in Lincoln City!! We live in nearby Neskowin and are thrilled to have your services so close. We have two lovely and much loved labradors, one of whom had to be hospitalized at your hospital in Portland 2 years ago. He had a sudden onset of liver and kidney failure and needed intensive care for about 5 days. I’m happy to report he’s now totally healthy and running on the beach every day. Thank you so much for the excellent care he received at that time. We wish you a warm welcome here at the coast!!

Testimonials from Local Veterinarians
The veterinarians up and down the coast have done an outstanding job of providing emergency care for their patients for many years - and are to be commended for their dedication. However, the introduction of DoveLewis will provide for a much higher level of emergency care than can be provided by the general practitioner. This new service will bring expertise that will be a great benefit to the animals of the Central Coast and their human family members. Dr. Hoffman and myself are absolutely thrilled to be a small part of this effort.

Having DoveLewis Emergency Hospital close by will enable me to stay in practice longer doing what I enjoy, without being up in the middle of the night and knowing my clients’ pets are expertly and promptly treated.
